The Stock Sifter page is an advanced stock screener that instantaneously finds the stocks that match to the visitor search criteria. By applying specific filters according or their interest or trading style. Visitors can test and fine tune their search criteria with an intuitive user interface that automatically re-execute the sifter when a filter is either added or its value modified. Currently, the Stock Sifter can search and match stocks on the following 8 criteria: Exchange,Sector,Industry,Price variation in the last trading session,Current RSI value,Six different moving averages crossover types (15/50,50/100,50/200, 50/15,100/50 and 200/50),Share price,Unusual Volume,Users can also select the sort criteria and its order. This will impact the order in which the symbols will be showed in the Results pane. As the visitor builds its sifter, the Symbol Count section of the page is dynamically updated to show how many stock symbols meet the combined criteria. The stock symbols that meet the specified criteria for the last trading session are displayed in the Results pane of the sifter page. Users can then display detailed fundamental and performance related information for each of these stock by hovering above the ticker symbol with the mouse. If they wish so, registered visitors can add any of these stocks to a Portfolio by clicking on the Add button in the Add to Portfolio sub-section of the Detailed Stock Information section of the page. Finally, the Stock Sifter page allows the registered visitors to save their sifter as an Alert. Once defined as such, the sifter is automatically executed at the end of each trading day and the visitor is notified, via email, of the symbol match count for each of his alerts.
