Debbie Crane Aliseda - For MISD School Board , Place 1
Debbie Crane Aliseda has filed as Place One candidate for the May 14th McAllen School Board election. An active community and school volunteer, Crane Aliseda presently is PTO President for both McAllen High School and Pablo Perez Elementary School. She also presently serves on the McAllen Site Base Committee for M.I.S.D., Superintendent's Parental Advisory Committee and is the Chairperson/Facilitator for the Parental Engagement Committee at Perez Elementary. She has previously served as PTA treasurer at Morris Middle School, PTO Treasurer at Perez Elementary School and directed annual school fund raising carnivals at Gonzalez and Perez Elementary Schools. In addition, she has served on the board of Mujeres Unidas and has been an active member of the McAllen Junior League, McAllen Citizen's League and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, along with having been a volunteer in McAllen Teen Court. Debbie previously owned and managed Harrison's Factory Outlet stores in McAllen, Weslaco, Harlingen and Brownsville for ten (10) years. A product of McAllen schools herself, she has three children attending McAllen public schools and a fourth, age 3, at home. Debbie is the daughter of Baudelia and Robert Crane and daughter-in-law of Laura and Jose L. Aliseda, M.D. all of McAllen.
