For over a decade we have been providing behavioral intervention and early intervention for children with special needs and their families. Working with families in natural settings allows us to maximize the child's progress and potential. Our programs are supervised by Jennifer Keany, licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT license number MFC38484).We provide services in-home, in-school and in the community. We are certified as a non-public agency for the California Department of Education to provide Behavior Intervention Development (BID) and Behavior Intervention Implementation (BII). We are also vendored through the Regional Center to provide Behavior Intervention services. What is Our Philosophy?We follow a family-centered philosophy, supporting interactions between the family members and the child / adolescent to promote his/her optimal development. We will provide your family and/or caregivers with the tools needed to assist your child in maximizing his/her developmental potential through play and/or every day activities. The parents/caregivers are expected to be both active participants and observers during their child's early intervention sessions. Research has shown that children demonstrate increased progress when families are actively involved in their intervention programs. The team at Keany & Associates, Inc. will model a variety of strategies and techniques for your family and/or caregivers to use with your child / adolescent throughout their daily routine.
