Camp Discovery
TCamp Discovery is a non-profit organization founded in 2004 to ensure that children with mild to moderate special needs have a wonderful summer camp experience. The special needs of these children are addressed in a fun filled day camp, complete with therapies administered by a carefully trained staff. Our children and their families travel from dozens of zip codes in the Los Angeles area to participate in Camp Discoverys days of exploration and fun, all the while continuing with their language, social and motor growth. Located in the beautiful Temescal Canyon Gateway Park, Camp Discovery shares its site with the Palisades Malibu YMCA. This provides many opportunities for collaborative activities between the two camps.
