Capital Research Institute
The Capital Research Institute was founded by Henrik Woehlk, CMA and Louis De Klerk, Public Accountant. Henrik’s background is Economics, Accounting & Finance. Louis’ background is also Accounting, primarily in the areas of Small Business Consulting & Tax. The Institute is based in Victoria, BC, Canada. Issues are analyzed from a multidisciplinary perspective, taking into account Geopolitics, Economics, Law, Finance and Accounting. We started ‘The Web of International Finance’ to share our research and analysis, in addition to seeking comments and contributions from the public. There is a greater need than ever for people all over the world to become more ‘financially literate’, and in the process become aware of certain key issues facing the world. While the Capital Research Institute is of the opinion that wealth preservation is the key during this turbulent time our research is always on the look out for value investments as well as stores of value such as gold, silver and other commodities. A video archive has been compiled, consisting of some of the most informative and relevant videos available on the internet on a wide variety of topics, such as the history of the Oil Industry, how Consumerism was engineered in the 1920s to turn people’s wants into needs, the history of money, currency debasement, and much more. Front and center will of course be the most pressing issues of today, mainly currency devaluation/debasement (resulting in food inflation), sovereign debt crises, and a corrupt fiat money system (with the Federal Reserve at its heart).
