Moving With Health Oriented Physical Education, Inc. (MovingWithHOPE) supports, promotes and provides physical activity and nutrition education programs to individuals with disabilities and their families. In conjunction with Life Design Systems, Inc., in Shelton, CT, MovingWithHOPE provides a year-round program that teaches practical and evidenced-based stretching, specific exercise and relapse-prevention skills that help prevent the onset or progression of orthopedic intolerance and cardio-metabolic disease risk factors. This program has been used with thousands of Lower Naugatuck Valley residents since 1984. Our mission is to provide the missing and much-needed link between patient and doctor that shows each client specifically what and when each step is needed to make positive lifestyle changes and how they can accomplish realistic improvements over time.
