The Park Hotel Diss Norfolk
A beautifully restored East Anglian Hotellocated near to the town centre, The Park boasts a fine restaurant and bar and all 17 rooms are ensuite with colour tv, direct dial telephones and hospitality tray. The hotel is adjacent to grassy slopes which run down to the famous Mere of Diss, said to be one of the deepest lakes in England. Diss is a thriving market town, combining historic architecture with modern living. It is centrally located in the beautiful East Anglian countryside, making it ideal as a base for exploring the many attractions and country houses inthe region. Diss was once a small East Anglian village, straddling the Norfolk/Suffolk border, and the buildings of the Park Hotel were part of the village scene. In the 1960's the hotel grew from its village origins into a restaurant known across the two counties for its fine food and lavish banquets.
