The Agency For African Families in Distress is a non –profit, humanitarian, voluntary – development, gender-sensitive non-governmental organisation. It provides psychological assessment, including creative intelligence, and promotive, preventive, curative, reformative and rehabilitative psychological intervention services for offender reformation, rehabilitation and mental health, as well as psychological intervention services for the empowerment and rehabilitation of traumatized victims, including indigenous people, militants, victims of environmental degradation, and other vulnerable people, at risk. It also provides psychological services for the reformation, rehabilitation, and empowerment of distressed women, children and youths in socio-economically deprived communities.
