Carey Dive Center inició en la pequeña ciudad de Los Mochis, Sinaloa México en 1992. El fundador, Gabriel Vázquez, le dió este nombre por la tortuga en peligro de extinción, Carey. Este nombre se escogió en honor de la ciudad de Los Mochis, cuyo nombre significa “Lugar de las Tortugas” en la lengua nativa Cahita. En 1997 Gabriel llevó a la Compañía a la tranquila ciudad de La Paz, Baja California Sur, donde él y sus invitados han disfrutado de las maravillas del buceo y la vida marina por años. Carey Dive Center ha otorgado más de 1500 certificaciones de buceo, desde Open Water Diver hasta Instructor. Siendo la única empresa que ofrece certificaciones de Instructor SSI en toda la Baja California, el número sigue creciendo con las personas que, como tú, viajan de todo el mundo para venir a entrenar y bucear con Gabriel y su Personal en La Paz. Aunque Carey Dive Center tenga sus raices en la industria del buceo, no es en la única actividad en la que se especializa. Puedes explorar mar y tierra con los especialistas de Carey Dive Center guiándote en excursiones de kayak, snorkel, pesca, campamentos, ciclismo y caminatas. The founder, Gabriel Vazquez, named the business after an endangered sea turtle, the Carey. This name was chosen in honor of the town of Los Mochis whose name means place of the turtles in the native tongue Cahita. In 1997 Gabriel moved the business to the tranquil town of La Paz, Baja California Sur where he and his guests have enjoyed the amazing diving and marine life for years. Carey Dive Center has granted over 1500 dive certifications from Open Water Diver to Instructor. Being the only SSI Instructor Certifying facility in all of Baja California, that number continues to grow as people like you travel from all over the world to train and dive with Gabriel and his staff in La Paz. Although Carey Dive Center has its roots in diving, that is not the only activity that it specializes in. The land and the sea can be explored with the specialists at Carey Dive Center guiding you on snorkeling, kayaking, fishing, camping, cycling, and hiking trips.
