The Learning Media Organization (tlmo.org)
The Learning Media Organization is a 501c-3 registered, non-profit charity dedicated to donating quality enlightening and educational programming to schools, libraries, community centers, hospitals, foundations and institutions nationwide. Our DVD programs are provided by a wide variety of independent producers. They specialize in creating educational media for most general curriculum programs currently in use by schools around the country. Topics include biographies, world events, world history, American history, US Presidents and government, nature, science, social and cultural studies and travel among others. We also have a selection of family friendly, G-rated films suitable for all ages. The American Cancer Society 2010 Kauai Hoedown for Hope:
The American Cancer Society’s 2010 Hoedown For Hope will be held in the beautiful Kilohana Luau Pavilion, October 2, 2010. Festivities begin at 6:00 P.M. Join us for a night full of dancing, train rides, delicious food stations, live & silent auctions and more! Paniolo-style music by the Happy Enchilata Band will greet you when you arrive. Our featured entertainer is one of Hawaii's top performing artists, Nohelani Cypriano, who is generously donating her performance, sharing her songs and stories as we dine and dance. Sunday Murch will be leading (and teaching!) Western Line Dancing throughout the night. For a little bit of money, you can sign up for the Dance Contest and win a great prize. It's all fun, it's all hoedown!
