Our vines are in the commune of Vinsobres on the plateau above the village at an average altitude of approximately 400m which ensures a large diurnal temperature variation and in particular cool nights. As a result the grapes ripen slowly. About a third of the vines are in Cru Vinsobres and the remainder in the Côtes du Rhône (Côtes du Rhône Village prior to the introduction of the cru) and are about one third Syrah, two thirds Grenache Noire. They are cultivated with a minimum of chemical treatments in the lutte raisonnée fashion. We have sown between the rows to increase water competition and enhance bio-diversity.
