Douglas Glenn Handcrafted Furniture is housed in a 5,000 square foot woodworking shop that builds and designs custom furniture. Doug VanderGalien started his work in the woodworking industry in a small mill shop 20 years ago. Doug enjoyed working there building doors and windows for exclusive and historic home and commercial properties. From there he began his own business as a finish carpenter. He worked as a finish carpenter and would occasionally build custom cabinetry for a project. That was the beginning of Doug=s passion for custom furniture. Doug started Douglas Glenn Handcrafted Furniture out of his garage while maintaining his finish carpentry business. Building and designing custom furniture started taking more and more of his time and quickly transformed into a full time business. Douglas Glenn has grown into a solid furniture design and build business. Douglas Glenn works well with designers, home owners, and contractors in designing and building the custom piece to meet their individual needs. The work of Douglas Glenn is unique and speaks for itself each piece that is created is a one of a kind and completely handcrafted.
