It's not about the crowded portrait studio or standing in line for the chance to say cheese. It is about lasting memories created in an atmosphere of your own design. Where can you feel relaxed and playful? Is it the park, the beach, the basketball court? It's all up to you. A little forethought and a creative photographer can provide you with images which are true to who you are. That Lexus in the driveway will depreciate but your investment in portrait art will become more and more valuable to you with each passing year until it is absolutely priceless.
Most of my land and water 'scape' images are from places in Maine which are popular with locals and visitors alike. Gardens, parks, lakes, mountains and the ocean all provide inspiration. When you consider a souvenir of your vacation, why spend money on trinkets which will collect dust or eventually find themselves lost and forgotten. Why not invest in beautiful images for your walls which will remind you of those delightful escapes in wondrous locales? For the lucky folks living near these special places, I suggest you turn away from those mass produced wall hangings and invest in art for your home which is a reminder of just how fortunate you are to live where you do. If you have a passion for art, you are probably already aware of the fact that most original art and even limited editions are prohibitively expensive. Photography is still within the reach of the average consumer. Why not spend a little extra for art which makes a statement?
