Dead Sea and Arava Science Center
The Dead-Sea and Arava science center is a non profit organization which functions under the auspices of the Ben Gurion University. The center perform applied research programs promoting the economic development, the demographic growth and the well being of the community at the Dead Sea and the Arava region. We initiate and encourage development of scientific cooperation with our Jordanian neighbors and other international partners.
The center advances scientific interest and activity for the general public and the educational system from middle school to university levels. The center develop and spread the scientific information gathered and related to the Dead-Sea and Arava area with the different interested populations such as scientists, students, pupils, and the general public by arranging conferences, workshops, courses etc, both in Israel and internationally.
