Essence of Coaching
Sonja Mustiful is founder, president and principal coach of Essence of Coaching,LLC. She is a certified professional coach and leadership development consultant to individuals, teams and organizations. Sonja has achieved this by developing and strengthening human resources and organizational programs to match the organization's business strategy through the full continuum of change and growth.
Sonja's clients have included individuals from Aflac, FedEx, First Data Corporation, Memphis City Schools, Sherwin-Williams, Shelby County Schools, Methodist-LeBonheur, University of Memphis Continuing Education and Raytheon. She has over 15 years experience working for global organizations in the area of Human Capital, maximizing business results through coaching solutions. Her skills in coaching, facilitation, and project management coupled with a strong desire to serve her client's customer and business needs have provided effective and meaningful results.
Prior to establishing Essence of Coaching, Sonja was the Vice President of Human Resources for a financial services firm. She has served in leadership roles with Regions, Citigroup and Honeywell. Sonja specializes in professional leadership development, organizational effectiveness and team-building.
Sonja holds a Master's Degree in Human Resources from Central Michigan University. Sonja is qualified to facilitate the Myers Briggs Type Indicator © (MBTI) , and Emergenetics© personality assessment, Building Relationships, Change Management and Career Planning. She draws on her additional study and practice of Development Coaching to assist leaders in thinking through change to maximize strategic impact and results at an individual and organizational level.
Whether it's facilitating a teambuilding session using the MBTI, guiding teams in their development, or leading a career transition session to generate fresh ideas and unique approaches, Sonja brings an exceptional level of research, thought, and creativity to her work.
Sonja serves on the Board of Directors for Concord Academy. She holds membership with the Rotary Club of Germantown, Greater Memphis and Germantown Chamber of Commerce, and Society of Human Resource Management.
