Pandas Facts
In this article, I'm going to talk about the panda; providing pandas facts. The giant-panda are living in temperated bamboo-forests in China. They are paradoxical, in that they are both very well known and at the same time very rare. If it can be said that being an endangered-species can be a good thing, the positive consequence that the giant-panda's rarity, together with the fact that it's so famous, is that it symbolizes the world's willingness to spare this kind of animal. The giant-panda is carnivorous, meaning it eats meat. So, what has ensued the giant-panda's rareness? Like always, it's more than one factor - but one, that happened not that recently, is what the farmers did with forests. When they cut them down, obviously the forest-living animal had to go somewhere else - and it's more difficult for the giant-panda to survive in mountaneous places, than in lower places. Then, relatively recently, we have all the illegal hunting. The places in which the giant-panda lives might be mountaneous, but they're still living in forest-places. They do so five thousand to ten thousand feet up. The giant-panda is a bear, and looks it. Everything but the ear, the eye-cover, every leg and every shoulder is white - and the exceptions being black-colored. As often is the case, because of the animal's cutesy, individuals assume the giant-panda to not be a danger - but, really, they are. How sizable is the giant-panda? Equally big as the black-bear - that are located in the U.S.
