I always wanted to be a rock star, and I was always into cool clothing, as quoted in a recent CJOH TV appearance. In the end I never became a
famous rock star. I did, however, open the coolest clothing store in Ottawa. Albeit it was much later in life than I had planned. With a little help from my friends and family, Straight n Wicked was created. It's main retail focus was media wear for 54 Rock, the Bear, Y-105, Chez 106 and XFM. Straight n Wicked was also the merchandizing company for Rent (Canadian Tour), Festival Canada, the Ottawa Folk Festival and the Ottawa Bluesfest. After a brief retirement, Straight n Wicked re-opened as Fabgear 64 and moved to it's present location, 420 Richmond Rd, in October 2005. Our Mission Statement: Funkify the City of Ottawa, make shopping fun again, create trends, customer service, and satisfaction. With the launch of fabgear.ca, the world is our market. The site features only a small portion of what we do here. So have fun, and if you are looking for something special, just send us an email. If we can't find it, nobody can.
