Post-Partum Infant Care: Full and Part-time specialists available Flexible scheduling that conforms to your day to day needs Minimum daily hour requirement = 6 Hours Two-Day In-Home Training Course: Two days of instruction on Newborn care techniques in the comfort of your own home Infant care specialists provides both knowledge and reassurance Provides hands-on training and customized care Labor Doula care: Providing continuous physical, emotional and informational support .Cares for Mother and Family before, during and just after childbirth What Should You Expect? When your infant care specialist enters your home, she will provide all of the following care: Breast/Bottle Feeding Support All Sterilization (Bottle, pacifiers, etc.) Diaper Change Bathing All Laundry Nursery Set-Up, Order & Maintenance Circumcision Care Umbilical Care Schedule/Routine Design Home Maintenance Errands Recommendations Accompany to Appointments Provide Mommy/Daddy Down-time Some Older Sibling Care Registry Assistance Infant Massage Emotional Support What to Expect from Our Labor Doulas Our Labor doulas are educated and experienced in childbirth. We are prepared to provide physical (non-medical), emotional and informational support to women and their partners during labor and birth. We offer loving reassurance, positioning and comfort measures that make childbearing women and families feel nurtured and cared for. Clinical Studies have found that a doula’s presence at birth tends to result in shorter labors with fewer complications reduces negative feelings about one’s childbirth experience reduces the need for pitocin (a labor-inducing drug), forceps or vacuum extraction and cesareans reduces the mother’s request for pain medication and/or epidurals About Our Specialists Bella Bambini is a small group of certified baby nurses, post-partum doulas and labor doulas. Our specialists are passionate about infant care. Each baby they care for is treated as they would their own. By the time your specialist leaves she will feel like a part of your family. Our caregivers go through extensive hands-on training, are affiliated with Doulas of North America (DONA), and are certified in: Infant Healthcare & Nutrition Infant & Child Development Infant & Child Safety Accident Prevention Infant & Child Behavioral Skills Baby Nursing Infant & Child CPR Post-partum Doula care Labor/Birth Doula care All Bella Bambini Baby specialists receive certifications in updated infant care courses each year.
