Boleslaw Kochanowski
Boleslaw Kochanowski Jr. learned ironworking under the guidance of his father, an accomplished second-generation master blacksmith of Poland. Continuing his education, Boleslaw studied wrought-iron artistry in Europe and the United States. He works with a creative vision, hammering yellow-hot iron into time-transcending works of art. Sculptures, wall art, curving stair balustrading, gates and fire screens are just a few of the hand-forged designs that pay homage to the masters of yesteryear, as these works inspire patrons of today. His wife, Anna, and their two daughters are involved in this family business. In Boleslaw’s footsteps follow their four sons—the fourth generation.
