e-Forum - Forum for European e-Government and e-Public Services
e-Forum - the European Forum for ePublic Services - is a gateway to the latest e-government information and a platform for analysis of the needs of e-government over the next ten to fifteen years. The e-Forum Association includes both public sector and private sector organisations, as well as academics. Supported by the European Commission under the Fifth Framework Programme for Research and Development, e-Forum provides an input into e-government strategy in the European Union as well as the Accession Countries from Central and Eastern Europe (Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia) and other European countries (including Bulgaria, Romania, Russia, Switzerland, Iceland and Norway). e-Forum Working Groups focus on change management and cross-institutional working, benefits from increasing take-up of eGovernment services, procurement for eGovernment, justifying shared infrastructure and interoperability, security, and eDemocracy. E-Forum also organises Learning Journeys. The chief executive of the e-Forum Association is Baudouin de-Sonis, and e-Forum consortium founding members are British Telecom (BT), Bull, DeCon, DIRE, the UK Government Office of the e-Envoy, Generalitat Valenciana, Tissat and Told Skat
