About Sylvia Starnes…
I have always loved pictures. They tell the story of our lives. As time has passed by and my children are now grown, I have more time to pursue interest of my very own and photography is one of my greatest passions. It allows me to capture life’s moments one frame at a time. I find tremendous joy in sharing and preserving lifelong memoires that otherwise may be forgotten.
I have been the “family” photographer for many years. My friends and family know that I always have a camera handy and that their email and facebook pages will be loaded up with the latest experiences, events and gatherings. I feel very blessed to know that I have the chance to share my view of the world one click at a time and that these moments will be frozen forever.
I began to upgrade my skills by taking photography classes, attending workshops and working with a wonderful group of fellow photographers. The discovery of shared passion and a quest to learn, has proven to be very valuable to each of us as we pursue our quest to share captured moments with others. Photography is a lifelong learning experience and it is my goal to share the best photos possible with each of you.
As I pursue this adventure in photography, I continue my primary profession as a Retail Demand Planner. This work has helped me to develop skills necessary to work with people from all backgrounds. In addition to my professional career, my family is the major focus of my life. My husband has been a tremendous support, along with my children and extended family who continuously provide subjects for “In My Frame” photos.
I specialize in framed landscapes for home décor and display my work at many festivals and craft shows. You can contact me directly to purchase prints from the website. I do not shoot weddings, however; I am available to photograph special events, birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, fund raisers, church events, family -children’s portraits, Prom- senior pictures, and much more.
