Family Link
Family Link is a family friendly business owned and operated by Allison Roberts. Allison is originally from Stockton, CA. She came to the SF bay area in 1997 and attended Samuel Merritt /St. Marys College Intercollegiate Nursing program. She graduated in 2000 and earned her Bachelor in Science in Nursing degree. She soon became a Registered Nurse and Public Health Nurse. She worked as a Public Health Nurse in Alameda County. Allison volunteers as a support for new moms in different areas. She is a breastfeeding peer counselor and a Professional Breastfeeding Resource Center for La Leche League. Being a mother of two boys, Allison would like to share her parenting experiences and professional knowledge with other mothers in Contra Costa County in order to offer support, enthusiasm and empowerment in the role of motherhood.
Family Link advocates breastfeeding by answering telephone questions about common or basic breastfeeding problems. We offer assistance by providing lists of recommended professional breastfeeding support people in our area. Please see our services page for more information.
It is our intent to recognize the needs of our parent community. By acknowledging the needs of parents, we work to share these needs with other parent support agencies in order to address those needs.
