French Car Care was registered in April 1986. The business stared primarily as a mechanical workshop specialising in the service and repair of Renault, Peugeot and Citroen. Denis Caplet is one of the Directors and mechanic and is the driving force behind French Car Care’s rise from being just a workshop to being a workshop, retail spare parts and importer of parts, together with a large range of secondhand/recycled parts.
Denis is a French national having immigrated to Australia in 1972. While in France, he worked as a mechanic, and sold spare parts. Denis’ vast knowledge and experience helped the business grow very quickly. Being able to speak French is certainly an advantage especially when we started importing spare parts from Europe in 1988.
In 1989 French Car Care employed Richard The as our spare parts manager. Richard had previously spent eleven years in spare parts for a Renault and Peugeot Dealer in New South Wales. Richard’s knowledge and experience makes him an invaluable member of the company.
French Car Care carries a wide range of new parts in stock and has the ability to source most other parts within 24 to 48 hours. We also carry a huge range of secondhand/recycled parts.
