She published three books: Falling Through Darkness, Stealing Henry and Drawing the Ocean. Phi Slam
Phi Sigma Lambda, known as Phi Slam, is different from other fraternities. It is privately owned and operated and our goal is to provide an alternative environment to the college drinking scene. We offer alcohol-free parties 2 to 3 times a semester for any college student who wants to attend. The Phi Slam apartment is open every Friday and Saturday for away football games, dance parties, tailgates, and many other events. Thursday night is freshman guy night and Tuesday night we meet together to pray for our campus. Our focus is to allow freshmen a choice when they come into college: a choice to steer clear of the college drinking scene and come into an environment where there is no peer pressure and no opportunities for regret. UGA football Coach Mark Richt is on the board for Phi Slam.
