Ian Garrett is a Los Angeles based Artist, Designer and Producer whose wide variety of skills have led to a long list of projects that include architecture, database, events, opera, programming, sculpture, theatre, opera et cetera. He is affiliated throughout the LA metro area and nationally with award-winning artists and top-notch institutions providing bold design, design assistance, organizational support and other innovative solutions. Originally from Los Angeles, Ian left to study architecture at the Rice School of Architecture in Houston, Texas; one of the top architectural schools in the nation. While in Houston he began a relationship with the larger arts community working with many of the organizations of Fresh Arts Collective including Stages Repertory Theatre, D!verseworks and the Commerce Street Artist Warehouse. After leaving Houston, Ian went on to work with theatrical institutions like The Williamstown Theatre Festival and The Pubic Theater until he found himself returning to Los Angeles to earn his masters degree at the California Institute of the Arts. Since returning to LA, Ian has built an impressive client list through the entire spectrum of arts organizations. From assisting individual artists to designing interior and theatrical lighting to developing ticketing solutions for midsize theaters. Ian's broad range of skills help him find unique and ingenious ways to assist artists, including himself, realize their dreams and build a sustainable future.
