Hope Valley
Hope Valley is an alternative rock band from Rhode Island, United States. Formed in 2009 the band takes their name from their home town. The band consists of Chris Chilton (bass), Sammy LoPriore (drums), Jesse Picard (guitar), Paul Taboada (vocals), and Anthony Zonfrilli (guitar). The bands debut EP , Exposition, was released on March 27th 2010.In late 2009, Anthony and Paul decided to use some studio time to record some songs while their band, Almost There, was on winter break. Klondike and Langworthy were both recorded with Anthony playing guitar and bass, Paul singing, and electronic drums. Sammy had played with Anthony in the past and soon played drums over the previously recorded two songs. These two songs were only distributed to close friends. The response was positive and Hope Valley, now a trio, began working on new music.
By the end of February 2010, five songs were complete. The band started searching for some nice artwork for the cover and distributing the album to friends. Again the response was positive and the question “When are you guys playing?” kept coming up. They decided that the days of being just a studio band should end. It was announced on June 10th 2010, Jesse and Chris had joined the band.
