Arctic Rafting is an Icelandic adventure and activity company with an emphasis on eco tourism and environmentally friendly trips in the amazing Icelandic nature. We are your one stop for daytrips, activities and adventure during your holiday in Iceland. Our operation area is Iceland, specifically South Iceland, Reykjavik, Geysir area and around Gullfoss waterfall. We also operate a number of tours in Þingvellir (thingvellir) National Park. We offer river rafting, white water rafting, riverrafting on many Icelandic rivers, mostly in South Iceland. The main rafting river is Hvítá (Hvita River) that is very close to Geysir hotsprings. We also offer white water canoeing and sea kayaking close to Reykjavik. Other popular tours are snorkeling and diving in the Silfra ravine in Thingvellir, hiking to the hot springs near Hveragerði and Reykjavik. Glacial hiking with optional ice climbing is also a very cool tour on the glacier named Sólheimajökull (Solheimajokull glacier). These glacial trips are an excellent way to explore the rugged Icelandic glaciers and nature. Caving is Iceland with us is also a superb way to explore the unseen lava caves and tubes. In addition to all this we run an array of incentive trips and teambuilding activities in Iceland, Reykjavik, The Golden Circle and anywhere you can think of in Iceland. Customized ski trips, snowboard trips, hiking trips, trekking, kayaking, diving, rafting, climbing and alpine trips can be arranged.

I am a photo enthusiast. I am always learning something new. Although I shoot informational digital photos too, my heart and energies search for that one great creative shot. Occasionally, I get the exact feeling and composition on digital film. And that elicits a big smile and a wow! Hopefully the image compels others to stare at it again and again, the way I intently do. I prefer to express myself with photos instead of words.
I like striking colors, patterns, abstracts, architecture, small towns in the west, cowboys, portraits and landscape. Portraits are very difficult. I look for people doing something other than staring at my lens.
Nevada is my favorite area to photograph. Photos taken in this state always surprise people. Few realize the wide range in climate, landscape and culture. I am always amazed at the spectacular photo opportunities, from the desert to the many mountain Ranges (Spring, Jarbidge, Ruby and the Sierra Nevada), lakes and rivers.
Great photo opportunities reveal themselves in so many places. A vast assortment of experiences and scenery always greet me, from Las Vegas to Elko, Baker, Austin Eureka, Gardnerville, Lamoille, Incline Village, Zephyr cove and Genoa. With that said, I like traveling everywhere there are great photo opportunities.
