The Gaming Goat is a full line gaming community located in Elgin, IL. The planning process began for the physical location in June of 2010, and much research was done within the gaming industry. The Gaming Goat team competitively shopped every store in northern Illinois and participated in many gaming events to learn the exact process and how to make events better. We have partnered with big name players in the local community to gain feedback about our store operations. We have listened, and delivered to the best of our ability. We feel that we have built a superior store environment and gaming community that focuses on both casual and competitive gaming. We are owned and operated by a team of talented gamers that have a variety of backgrounds including human resources, computer engineering, military, and legal. The one constant for our team is the love of gaming! People make the difference in any store/community environment, and we have some of the friendliest and best in the business! The Gaming Goat also holds events weekly for the community. To support the TCG events we feature 35 feet of high-end glass cases filled with TCG singles, boosters, and accessories. This includes a Magic the Gathering singles collection that is growing to be the biggest in the Chicago-land area! What really sets us apart is our great selection of RPG books, miniatures, and board/dice games. Iron Goat Trail Website
The Iron Goat Trail is sixty miles northeast of Seattle, the trail goes along the upper and lower sections of an abandoned Great Northern Railway grade. Travel nine miles through a lovely forests of ferns, alders and evergreens from the Iron Goat Interpretive Site at Scenic to the Wellington townsite and trailhead. Built by USDA forest service and Volunteers for Outdoor Washington (VOW).
