After retiring from a career in government service, but before doing the same in the travel industry, my pastime for picture taking became a passion. This progression was sparked by one of life’s many misfortunes that are so often a blessing in disguise; my 35mm camera was stolen from my humble abode. The purchase of a new digital camera, along with the ensuing classes, launched me into the digital revolution. Low and behold, when I gazed through the viewfinder of my camera, I began to see and appreciate the beauty of the world around me. As an artist, I feel that I must now bring this beauty, as I see it, to you. I hope that you are as captivated as I am by the subject matter of this body of work.
