Welcome to the Home of the St. John Lutheran School
St. John Lutheran School is located at 655 Wayne Avenue in Defiance, Ohio 43512. We offer excellent education starting with preschool classes at age 2 and continuing through the 8th grade. St. John is a Missouri Synod Lutheran Shool. We provide excellence in education and we are a Christian School. It is our goal to help our students develop a strong Christian faith so they will be confident of their Lord and their own God-given abilities to help them be successful through all of life. Programs we offer include:certified teaches in every area including our Tigers' Den Christian Child Care Center, competitive sports programs, starting with 4th grade, Spanish Language starting at Kindergarten, New Computer lab in 2008, school musicals, science fair, hot lunch program with federal free and reduced pricing available when needed. Our Tigers' Den Christian Child Care Center is available from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. 5 days per week and complements our school as children can be cared for before and after school according to their parent's schedules.
