Optimum Power Conversion, Inc., d.b.a. TESLAco, is a hi-tech company specialized
in the custom design of high-efficiency and high-power-density power supplies for commercial, industrial, automotive,
medical, military, defense, and space applications. The efficiency is typically higher than 95% at 5V output over a
wide input voltage and power range. TESLAcos expertise lays in small designs while applying zero ripple techniques,
which eliminates the need for external filtering. Recent DC-DC converter designs have power ratings of 100W, 300W,
600W, 1KW and 2KW with output voltages of 3.3V, 5V, 12V, 15V, 24V and 48V in open frame chassis with convection
cooling only (no need for forced air cooling). TESLAco has also experience with AC-DC converter designs, i.e., Front
end Power Factor Correction circuits complying with EN61000-3-2. Compliance with safety and EMI / EMC standards is
part of our know-how. Courses in power electronics (topologies, magnetics and control) are taught by Dr. Slobodan Cuk,
Chairman of TESLAco and Professor at Caltech until the year 2000. TESLAco sells the three volume books 'Advances in
Switched-Mode Power Conversion'. Dr. Cuk has pioneered the Cuk-Converter topology, also known as Cukonverter, as well
