Compean Photography
Joe Compean is an eclectic photographer that specializes in photo-documentary. He is a native born Chicagoan and a graduate of Columbia College, where he studied photography. Starting with photojournalism in the early 1990s, he has since incorporated many different forms of photography in his work. He enjoys working and experimenting with a variety of cameras, from antique Polaroid and 3d stereoscopic, to modern digital. Compean explores and expresses his thoughts and emotions through his images. Whether its candid moments of life or set-up portraits, he uses photography to reach out to his viewer. His goal is to provoke communication with and conversation about his subject matter. His work is not only visually stimulating but also thought provoking.

Website of the artist Fred Burton. Fred Burton is a professor at the Memphis College of Art where he has taught since 1987. His paintings, drawings and woodcuts have been exhibited in Paris, London, New York City, Chicago, Houston, Kansas City and Orlando. Burton has held artist residencies at the Edward Albee Foundation, Montauk, Long Island; the Michael Karolyi Foundation, Vence, France; Altos de Chavon in the Dominican Republic; the Tyron Guthrie Center in County Monaghan, Ireland; the Millay Colony for the Arts, Steepletop, Austerliz, New York; the Ragdale Foundation, Lake Forest, Illinois; and the Woodstock School of Art in Woodstock, New York, among others. Burton is listed in the 2005 edition of Who's Who in America, and also Whoís Who in the Humanities, Whoís Who Among Americaís Teachers, and Whoís Who in Tennessee Education, and in the 15th edition of Men of Achievement.
