Harry Hornby studied jewellery design at Central St Martins College of Art where she was awarded the Cartier Scholarship in 2009. She trained in Paris under their design team, working on the development of some of the worlds most iconic luxury jewellery.
During her final year at Central St Martins she was awarded a prestigious Goldsmiths Bursary, and was selected to be a Bright Young Gem at the International Jewellery London exhibition in September 2010.
From her bench in Londons Hatton Garden, she works to challenge the boundaries of her materials and to create jewellery which articulates her contemporary approach to luxury. Having previously gained a degree in the History of Art, Harry draws inspiration from the works of Bridget Riley, Naum Gabo and Barbara Hepworth. She celebrates the modernist aesthetic in her work, and uses it to develop jewellery which depends on form, line and visual effect to express a sense of spacious, refined glamour.
