DI-flex™ is the post-production workflow for filmmakers looking to get maximum value out of their post budgets. Hollywood-DI developed the DI-flex workflow specifically to maximize the incredible imagery produced by modern digital cameras such as the RED ONE™ at the same time as keeping costs low. DI-flex is a high resolution post pipeline that leverages all of the benefits of tools such as FCP, COLOR, and SCRATCH. It’s a smart combination of the right tools at the right time at the right price. The flexibility and power of the workflow means that Independent filmmakers can finish their movies in a cost-effective way without compromising on quality. Hollywood-DI's color grading environment is second to none. Our Barco 2k DLP projector and 20 foot Stewart DI screen are the perfect combination for viewing your visual elements. Our colorist, Aaron Peak our colirist is the master at pushing the Apple and Assimilate toolsets to their limits and achieving the very best finish for your movie. HDI's theater is calibrated regularly with the PR-650 spectroradiometer to ensure completely accurate colors. All movies are graded to exacting standards and finished to your artistic ideals. Our color timing workflow and rates are designed with the Independent filmmaker in mind. What ever your budget, HDI will help you get the finish you want for your movie - quickly and efficiently. Putting 'value on the screen' is our highest priority ... working with filmmakers to get the best looking movie possible is our primary passion.
The historic Fairbanks Theater has been refurbished and equipped with the latest in digital screening technology. Barco 2k DLP projection and Stewart Snomatte 100 DI screen provide unsurpassed image quality. Dolby stereo and 5.1 surround sound compliment the visual excellence. 35mm film projection is also available for film-out and VFX tests (MOS). Filmmakers can screen a multitude of different formats: HDCAM-SR, HDCAM, Digibeta, DVD, DPX, RED ONE 3rd, Quicktimes and FCP
projects. All digital formats are upressed in realtime to 1920 x 1080 and the Barco projector adjusted to provide the optimum viewing experience. The Fairbanks Theater seats 33 and a refreshment area is available for filmmakers to host their guests. Ample free parking is available in The Lot Parking Structure. VIP parking close to the Fairbanks Theater is available at a small
additional charge.
