Bob Heath Photography (TM)
Bob began his 'career-life' serving in the US Navy during the height of the Viet Nam war where he learned the true meaning behind words like leadership, commitment, integrity, and loyalty. Bob invested those qualities into a career change joining the Eastman Kodak Company. It was here he fine tuned those basic fundamentals while learning the ‘Art & Science’ of Photography from the flip side of film. Having spent 12 great years with Kodak he left to be part of the fast paced, and then exploding technology industry. He eventually landed at Microsoft as one of the company’s few 'Enterprise Architects'. In that role he helped some of the world’s largest governments, businesses and organizations to identify, understand, prioritize and resolve some of the most complex issues facing them.
This exposure afforded Bob an opportunity to learn a vast amount about global business strategies, international commerce, and advanced technologies from some of the world's most successful leaders in their fields.
To hone his artistic eye Bob has aligned himself with a few of the world’s greatest photographers and has become very close friends with a couple of his his personal mentors. Combining his distinct talents, leadership skills and experience with his love of the arts, Bob has focused on both the creativity or art side of photography, while drilling down deep into the science or technical side of ‘Digital Photography’ through the infinite world of computer graphic design and processing.
“'The production of a perfect picture by means of photography is an Art, the production of a technically perfect negative is a science.' Hurter & Driffield May 1st, 1890”
