Vicksburg, Michigan Historical Society, Depot Museum and Historic Village - Home Page
The Vicksburg Historical Society seeks to create an appreciation of the history of the greater Vicksburg, Michigan area in both children and adults through the presentation of exhibits, programs and events, acquisition and preservation of artifacts, historical research, and establishment and maintenance of a Historic Village reflecting period architecture where our large and diverse collection is displayed in context. The Vicksburg Historic Village is operated by the Vicksburg Historical Society and the Village of Vicksburg. It currently includes a Depot Museum, Express Office, Caboose and Boxcar, Print Shop, School House, Farm House and Barn, Gazebo and Township Hall. Historical Society Volunteers are available to answer questions about Vicksburg area history and assist with genealogy/family history questions.
