Minnesota Companion Rabbit Society
The Minnesota Companion Rabbit Society (MCRS) is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization whose primary goals are Education and Adoption. Through educating the public and assisting humane organizations, MCRS works to reduce the number of unwanted rabbits and to improve the lives of companion rabbits. MCRS also promotes adoption to help rabbits in area shelters, or those who shelters and animal control facilities can no longer care for to find permanent homes.

CCAC - Concerned Citizens for Animal Control of Warren County
In 1989, Homer and Alice Drew began caring for homeless animals in Warren County and formed the Animal Welfare Association (AWA). Alice continued working with the group after Homer's death and expanded it to include multiple foster homes, pet adoption through and working with first responders (911) on emergency animal calls. In 2000, she gave notice to the Warren County Commissioners that AWA would no longer perform that service for the county. In parallel, a second rescue group known as Homeward Bound worked with the City of Warrenton in a fostering and adoption program for the citizens of Warrenton through the city animal shelter.
