Hello!
Welcome to my photography website! I hope you enjoy looking at my pictures just as much as I have enjoyed taking them!!!!
My passion for photography started when I was just three years old (yep, I went through a lot of film in my Barbie camera back then!). I would spend countless hours looking at scenes and taking endless pictures with a simple point & shoot camera. Though my aim, coordination, and steadiness of hand still had much room for growth, I was not discouraged. Once, at the age of seven, I shot an entire roll of film out an airplane window while still waiting for take-off! When questioned by my mom about the usefulness of such, I cheerfully replied that the pictures would prove their worth when they were developed. When the pictures returned from the developer, I eagerly detailed how each picture was different from the previous, pointing out minor, but noteworthy, differences in composition. Since then, my eye and my love for photo-composition has continued to grow, and I especially enjoy creating photographs that capture contrast and feeling. My passion for photography was really piqued a couple of years ago when I traveled to Alaska -- wow! There were so many opportunities to capture the kind of pictures that you can "feel” and that have a deeper meaning, such as the contrast between a dry grassland foreground and a majestic snow-capped mountain range in the background. I've been on a roll ever since then. There have been a few upgrades in the camera department and the skill department, and some of my pictures have been published in newspapers and on websites. A few have even won contests!
Anyway, I am happy to host you through the "snapshots" of my inspiration, and hope that your visit to my site inspires you to slow down and enjoy the precious moments of life.
