The League of Northern Indian Nations
The League of Northern Indian Nations, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-for-profit organization serving the Native American population of the greater bi-state area of Missouri and Illinois.
We were originally established, on August 2, 1990, to mostly serve Northern Native American Peoples, and anyone else who may be interested in Northern Native American culture, heritage and Northern traditional ways. We felt there was a need to do this because, at the time, there were only several organizations in the area who mostly served Southern Native American Peoples, and they basicly gave no representation, or respect, to Northern Peoples, their culture or their traditional ways. But since then, these organizations have fallen away and are no longer with us. Therefore, since many of our members already come from so many other Native American backgrounds, it was easy for us to expand our efforts to include ALL Native American Peoples. So, dont let our name fool you. We love, serve, protect and respect ALL Native American Peoples, and their ways.

And we are sincerely dedicated to preserving, protecting and perpetuating, with respect, Native American (Indian) history, culture and the traditional values of ALL Native American Peoples through education, activities, programs, projects and social services.
