Welcome to Empowered Life Designs Unlimited. You’ve made it. You’ve just taken the first step toward creating the life you deserve. Empowered Life Designs Unlimited was created out of the desire to enrich and empower women’s lives through positivity and encouraging reinforcement that all too often gets lost in the hustle and bustle of all we have to do and all we have to be for everyone else but ourselves. We know we’re amazing creatures. As such, we as women take on too much and take care of ourselves too little. By focusing on everything around us, we as women, can lose ourselves in the minutia of life’s details only to awaken at some point in the future asking questions like: “Who am I?” “Where am I going?” “How did I get here?” At Empowered Life Designs Unlimited, we help you uncover the path to answering those questions yourself. We guide you on a journey of your own design. Who else could design your life more perfectly than you, right? TRANSITIONS Are you a woman in transition? Life transitions take place so frequently we sometimes forget they’re even there. Sometimes they’re welcome changes. Other times, they are not so welcome. Some are expected and planned and others come upon us without warning. Regardless of the nature of your transition, it’s still change. Change in itself, of any type, is stressful. We sometimes fight it. But, we can learn to thrive through it and even grow because of it. There are many ways we can transition into and out of certain times in our lives, here are just a few. Do any of these speak to you? – Getting married. – Getting divorced. – Having/adopting a child. – Sending a child off to college. – Changing careers. – Reinventing yourself. – Getting into the workforce (i.e. from homemaker, from college, from maternity leave). – Leaving the workforce (i.e. for maternity leave, for retirement, for self-exploration, for family reasons). GOALS Are you a woman with goals? They don’t have to be “change the world” goals. But, if you think about your smallest goal, really think about its impact, I bet you’ll find it may be a “change your life” goal no matter how small you think it is. Take my friend Mary for example. Mary was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia many years ago. At one point of her illness her goal was to be able to work a full 8-hour day at her desk job without being exhausted at night so she could spend time with her family. How many of us take for granted the simple pleasure of spending time with loved ones? But, for her, this goal was life changing. Achieving her goal changed not only her life but the lives of the people around her as well. So, what about you? What goals do you have?
