They have also been called ikea shopping service or the jersey ikea man.We aim to make the whole experience of purchasing IKEA® goods as simple and stress free as possible. All you have to do is choose the items you'd like from the IKEA® catalogue or the IKEA® website, call or email us with the details and let us take care of the rest!We go to Nantes IKEA® in France and collect the items that you order through us. We then bring them back to Jersey then deliver the items to your door. Click on NEXT TRIP to see when our next trip is or to order click on ORDER HERE.When ordering large items of furniture, it is very important that you carefully measure where the piece is going to go and also to consider whether we can get it to the location. If there are tight corners, narrow staircases and doorways, it may not be possible to deliver your order. Please be sure to check these details carefully in advance of placing your order. If we are unable to take your items to their intended destination due to restricted access you will still be liable to pay our delivery fee. If you would like advice on dimensions BEFORE you place an order, please feel free to contact us. We take great care in making sure we bring back the correct items from your order. If we fetch goods that are not the colour, pattern or size etc that you ordered, then we will exchange them at IKEA® on our next trip (subject to IKEA's terms and conditions). Delivery charges are as follows. There is a £10.00 delivery charge for all orders under £30.00, 40% delivery charge for orders over £30.00 and 40% delivery charge for items that have to be delivered by IKEA®. If there is a problem that is the fault of IKEA®, such as missing parts, then we will attempt to redeem the missing parts on your behalf, without any further delivery charges. If you decide that you don’t want an item you have ordered, then you have 14 days to decide not to keep it. We will return to pick up the unwanted item(s) from you but will charge £20 for taking it back to IKEA®. Also, if the item is returned out of its original packaging then it will be subject to a 30% reduction from the original purchase price by IKEA®. We will give you time to check over your purchases on delivery and will take unwanted items back to IKEA® for free if you advise us BEFORE we leave your premises. We will refund you the price of the item but not our delivery charge. Some items are excluded from the returns policy. These are: Mattresses (unless unused and in their original unopened packaging), cut fabric and goods ordered to your specifications, e.g. custom-made worktops or sofas. If you are not in to take delivery at the agreed time, then we will charge £10 for the wasted journey plus £5 per day to hold your items until a new delivery time can be arranged. We will re-arrange delivery for another day but this will generate its own new delivery charge. If an item(s) is out of stock, we will contact you to advise you of this. We will deliver you what we have brought and keep the rest of the order and return to IKEA® for these item(s). IKEA® usually tell us when they expect more stock to be available and we'll pass this information on to you so that you can decide whether to wait for any missing items, cancel them and continue with the rest of your order, or cancel the whole order. It is YOUR responsibility to order the correct items (size, colour etc..) If we deliver an item that is not what you require but IS what you ordered, we will exchange the item at IKEA® for a fee of £20 and re-deliver the correct item. This second delivery will be subject to its own new delivery fee. If an item is damaged on delivery, then please call us as soon as possible and we will collect a replacement for you on our next trip. We are not liable for faulty goods in any way. We will, however, present your case to IKEA® and request a refund. In all cases, we have to abide by the decision of the IKEA® store on all returned items. Payment MUST be made in full on delivery either by cheque or cash. If you are a business and a cheque has to be raised after delivery, the payment terms are strictly 7 days from delivery date. Cheques are to be payable to S.W.Marshall. If, for any reason, you are unable to pay for your goods on delivery, then we will keep the items until you can pay for them. We cannot deliver your goods unless there is an authorised person at the address to accept them, check them and sign to confirm that it is all there. We are, of course, affected by delays which are out of our control, such as lengthy queues in IKEA® or traffic jams / breakdowns on our journey / weather conditions that stop ferry crossings. If any of these happen the we will contact you as soon as we can. We will contact you to arrange a delivery date and time. Delivery will be from Monday through to Saturday the week following our return from IKEA. The exchange rate which we use is from HSBC and is what we are charged on the day of purchase. We go to IKEA® in France (Nantes Store). We reserve the right to refuse to take an order at these rates and on these terms. This could be because the goods are too big or heavy or we can’t park close to your property, or for any number of other reasons. We can change these terms and conditions at any time, at no notice. However, we are sensible and always happy to discuss.
