Math Kids Online is a web based tutoring service that seeks to produce dramatic improvements in a learners understanding of and ability to do mathematics. The website is based on the principle that learners need to watch how calculations are done and have the calculations explained to them and therefore provides an audio as well as visual learning experience.
The website does not replace the teacher but rather enhances and supports what has been learnt in the classroom. Math Kids Online is totally web-based which means that it is always being updated and improved which benefits users on a continual basis and will ultimately be a huge resource of lessons as well as worksheets which are in pdf format which can be downloaded and printed to ensure that learners get to practise which is of vital importance.
There is also a section of the website which offers mental maths exercises, which is suitable for learners from Grade 1 and even adults to improve their mental agility.
