A Little Advice About Job Interviews / www.alittlejobadvice.com - Where to begin and what to look for
This EBook is to help the job seeker / candidate, by pointing out 28 points of consideration to the job interview.
I have spent over 25 years interviewing job seekers and this book is a culmination of;
Where to Begin and What to Look for.
Think of it as pocket manual. You pick and choose the advice you can use from it as it pertains to your particular job application and interview, without it being so specific that it locks you down.
Exerpt: Point 6. You know what you can live with and you don’t want to waste your time or the time of others. Submit to as many different companies as fits your needs. Part time / full time, local or distant. Find out the answers before you submit a resume’. If number one doesn’t pick you up, maybe number two or three will. And, you can help them become number one.
Job interviewers may or may not use my methods since each company has its own unique protocols and job requirements. I go over the 28 points in broad and general terms so it isn't left out.
By being positive and proactive in the jobs arena you are giving yourself a chance to succeed.
The proactive part is to look ahead and anticipate what it will take to achieve your goal, then follow through.
The positive part is not to be discouraged by not being picked for the job take it as a learning experience and move onto the next one.
They have the job you want, give yourself the opportunity to get it. If you don't get the job re-read point 6.
Once you have your mind set on a course of action, then it is time to move ahead. I wrote this book with those thoughts in mind.
