Wawaaa Learning Point - Looking To Empowering Your Kids: We Are The One!
Like most concerned and well meaning parents, and being English speaking parents ourselves, we worry about our kids’ learning of the Mandarin language. Sourcing suitable weekend and other enrichment programmes became our regular weekend activity.
The search brought us to China including Nanjing and Ningbo where we hope to find a suitable and effective course that is not only suitable for our own children, but also that of other children in Singapore.
We finally found one in Hangzhou, Zhejiang where the founder of the programme, Mr Patrick Ma Yichao, was able to marry both the eastern concepts of learning with a modern mindset in the form of right brain development. Mr Ma is one of the first in mainland China to promote the right brain education and is a specialist in early childhood education. He completed his Master degree programme in University of Maryland and was a Researcher in Philadelphia Right Brain Development Research Centre. His Right Brain Campus® programme is currently being run successfully in Beijing, Hangzhou, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
