Claudia Fitch is a mid-career Seattle-based artist, known for her bold, playful sculpture and public art. Her public artworks grace Qwest Field, Lynnwood Transit Center, and Eastgate Park and Ride, in the Seattle area. Museums, such as Seattle Art Museum, Tacoma Art museum, and Cheney Cowles Museum in Spokane,WA feature her work in their collections. Her work is also represented in the collections of Microsoft, Swedish Hospital, and the City of Seatle. Ms. Fitch has received many fellowships and honors, including an award from Americans for the Arts Public Art Network's (PAN) 2004 Year in Review for Shift, her public artwork at Sound Transit's Lynnwood Regional Express Transit Center. She is represented by the Greg Kucera Gallery.
