Jamie T. Hall
Jamie T. Hall is a partner of Channel Law Group, LLP and works in the area of communications law, with a special focus in land use, municipal and regulatory affairs. Jamie has prepared and defended numerous applications for land use permits in California and has worked closely with wireless carriers, tower companies and Distributed Antenna System (“DAS”) providers to meet their deployment objectives. In this capacity, Jamie has navigated through all stages of the land use approval process and has appeared before hearing officers, planning commissions and city councils. In the regulatory arena, Jamie has processed applications for utility certifications in various state public utility commissions. Jamie also works in the firm’s litigation section, drafting court filings, defending and taking depositions, and conducting discovery.Before starting at Channel Law Group, Jamie interned at the Federal Communications Commission in 2002 and the Texas Association of Broadcasters (“TAB”) in 2003. While at TAB, Jamie conducted a nationwide survey on behalf of a Media Security and Reliability Council subcommittee regarding the Emergency Alert System. Jamie was born and raised in West Texas. He attended The University of Texas at Austin and graduated with Honors with Bachelordegrees in both Journalism and History in 2001. In December 2004, Jamie earned his J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law and Master of Public Affairs (M.P.Aff.) from the Lyndon Baines Johnson School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas. Jamie is admitted to practice law in California and Texas.
