After working in the family jewellery business in Vancouver for seven years, husband and wife team Brian and Heather Masich were inspired to start their own jewellery store with a set of values including quality, excellent customer service and jewellery designs relevant to todays ever changing life styles.
To set their dream in motion, they packed up everything, including their kids, Brendan (4) and Victoria (2) and moved away from the lights and excitement of the big city to the beautiful mountains of the Kootenays. With Cranbrook their new home, they officially opened Jewels on Ninth September 15, 1993.
Their standards have been the very measure of excellence in the realm of fine jewellery in the Kootenays for over 13 years, colouring them with the Platinum award for customer sevice for 6 years running.
