When writers describe art, whether it is painting, music, or wine, they are challenged to translate sensations into words. However, even cleverly arranged words, which might be sensational in their own right, fail to mimic the impact of real sensations. A sip of wine, a concert in the mountains, or seeing either a new or familiar image all evoke feelings that (trite as it sounds) simply cannot be described with words. Thus, I won't try to describe my paintings for you or to tell you what feelings they should evoke, especially when you can look at their images on this website and experience them for yourself, albiet in reduced size. I will, however, tell you a few things about me that may make the visual tour more interesting.
