In four distinct previous incarnations of the band, Friday Jones has performed at various clubs in the greater Los Angeles area.
In 2005 a fifth incarnation emerged combinating the usual seasoned combat veterans with fresh new recruits, the customary mainstay of
new (and old) music with creative approaches to rock jazz blues covers, and commentary on the state of humans BEing.
According to many listeners throughout the years, they just have never really been able to identify the music we play.
I think thats a good thing. We play Friday Jones, and that means down-home rock, jazz, blues, ska, dub, soundtracks,
ballads, anthems, and lyrical commentary are all up for grabs in a band noted for improvisational abilities and social edge.
