“Happenstance” sums up how I became a photographer. In the late 1980’s, I became interested in documentary photography when I found myself in Africa on business. Access to clean water was (and still is) a primary concern for most African communities. A couple of random photographs I took expressed the harsh reality of life without a reliable water source much more eloquently than I could ever hope to . . . I was hooked!
Over the years, photos of exotic locations segued into photos of family and friends. More recently, I started photographing events for my church, my daughter’s school, and a number of non-profits that I support. I love capturing the big events and the little moments that tell our life stories. For me, it’s all about the story.
“Happensnaps” lets me share these stories with you – all of you – more efficiently. Please feel free to link my galleries to your organization’s website so everyone can enjoy them. When you buy a print, a portion of the profit goes back to the non-profit.
